6 bedrooms plus snug

The Main House contains 6 bedrooms (5 upstairs and one downstairs), plus a 'snug' with two pull out beds suitable for children. Please click here for pictures and further information

• The Stag Room: upstairs, super-king zip and link bed*, en suite toilet/shower room
• The Snug: adjacent to the Stag Room (which is accessed via the Snug); two pull out single beds
• Beautiful Birds Room: upstairs, super-king zip and link bed*, en suite toilet/shower room
• Butterflies Room: upstairs, two single beds, with en suite toilet/shower room
• Tartan Room:upstairs, super-king zip and link bed*
• Nautical Room: upstairs, double bed
• Woodland Room: downstairs, double bed

* zip and link beds can be converted into 2 x 3 foot single beds, as desired.

Comfortable reception rooms

The Main House is equipped with:

• A fully fitted kitchen (brand new as of 2019) with Neff appliances, including an integrated coffee machine which will provide a suitable kick start to your Lakeland days. Within the same room, there is a 'snug' area with sofa, TV, and fully functioning log fire.
• A large lounge with seating for up to 14, surrounding the fully functioning log fire, and with steps out to the 'G&T garden', with fountain.
• A formal dining room, able to accommodate up to 16 with, you guessed it, a fully functioning log fire.
• A small, but useful, playroom, with a cupboard of children's toys, a TV, and a children's sofa and children's table and chairs.

Parking is available as follows:

There is a ‘courtyard’ to Beechmount, which can accommodate three cars, possibly 4 at a push. Access to this is through a tight stone gateway from the road (2.45 metres wide). It is perfectly possible to fit even large SUVs through this (and we routinely do), but we understand that some will feel more cautious about doing so than others.

There is car park adjacent to the play area literally across the road from Beechmount. This contains 4 marked out spaces, but can normally accommodate 5 or 6 cars. This is run by the Parish Council, on a ‘donations requested’ basis, but with no restrictions as to how long you can park there for. When spaces are available, this is extremely convenient for Beechmount, but clearly we cannot guarantee that spaces will always be available. Near Sawrey tends to get busy during the days (especially at weekends and bank holidays) though tends to be a lot quieter in the evenings and early mornings.
